Academic Software
Academic Software
The Oak technology committee would like to facilitate the identification of useful software by teachers. What would work best?
When I selected software for the lab I created at Los Gatos High School, I had a budget to order as many titles as I wanted to review. Out of the almost 30 titles I ordered, I ended up purchasing lab packs of 16 titles. Almost all of these are in use today, 7 years later. Of the ones I did not select, I was able to return some, but not all.

Here is a well reputed source of reviews on children's software and media technologies
http://www.childrenssoftware.com/ It is not expensive to subscribe - need a subscription to access the full database of reviews. If there is interest I would be happy to donate a subscription to the school. Tony Christopher
